The below looks at the transition of ladies hairstyles over the past 100 years. I find it curious that both long and short styles were popular during this time. From over the shoulder, loose tumbling waves to around the ears, 'poofy' over the head up-dos. Hair doesn't hold any magical powers but a new style becomes part of our identity, our persona, how we define ourselves, and how we want to be perceived by others.
